2021 Fermoy Merlot

Deep ruby red colour. Slightly subdued nose; blackberry and mocha aromatics show through. Medium weight with blackcurrant fruit at the core then tomato leaf and bramble notes along the line. It just lacks a touch of tension and drive to the flow. Tannins have good grip and ensure a dry finish at a medium length.
