2023 Picardy 'Pannell Family' Pinot Noir

In the Picardy stable, this cuvée is the wine that is relied upon for winemaking trials and innovations. Having said that, the wine is notoriously hard to get a hold of due to its price point and reliability.

The first release of the 2023 Pinots, hot off the ranks! Upon bringing the glass to your nose it is evidently more serious than in previous years, tightly wound and offering up hints of spring flowers and lavender.  Generosity is forthcoming on the palate, with plump red fruits and intricately layered raspberries and cranberries, walking the sweet/sour line with aplomb.
