Red fruits, cherry, a little cedar and spice, a slight earthiness, mint and floral top notes. It's medium-bodied, affable and juicy in red fruits, subtle bacon bone savoury complexity, a gentle graininess to tannin, even something of 'mineral' feel, with a bright finish of good length. In the Picardy stable, this cuvée is the wine that is relied upon for winemaking tradition and consistency. The Pannell Family Pinot Noir is sourced from the estate's oldest Pemberton vines and represents the benchmark expression of Picardy's Pinot Noir style.
