Collection: Great Southern

The Great Southern is Western Australia's largest and most geographically diverse wine region, stretching across Mount Barker, Frankland River, Denmark, Albany and Porongurup. Each sub-region has its own distinct character shaped by altitude, distance from the coast and soil type, making the Great Southern one of Australia's most varied and interesting wine producing areas.

The region is best known for cool-climate Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from Mount Barker and Frankland River, and for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the cooler coastal areas around Denmark and Albany. Producers in this collection include Plantagenet, Frankland Estate, Swinney, Picardy and Howard Park, among others.
