Bouzy is Pinot Noir country, and Andre Clouet is one of its most committed practitioners, which makes Dream Vintage the outlier in the range: a Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay grown inside the Grand Cru of Bouzy.
Chardonnay is a small presence in the village, and the 2016 gives a Blanc de Blancs with the breadth that Bouzy's south-facing slopes bring to fruit, cut with the acidity and chalk-driven line the variety is grown for elsewhere in Champagne.
