Ladoix is one of Burgundy's quiet corners, a village at the northern tip of the Cote de Beaune in the shadow of the hill of Corton, and its whites remain something of a collector's secret. In Thibault Morey's hands it is taut and stony, white orchard fruit drawn out on a saline line. A characterful, fairly priced Chardonnay from an address better known for grander things. Drink over the next few years.
