Flashy and flinty aromas of orange blossoms, grapefruit peel, lime curd and hazelnuts on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with focused acidity, giving notes of lemons, sea salt, graphite and pastry. A tightly wound wine that will age nicely in bottle for many years to come. Excellent. Drink or hold.

This is a creamy and nougat-laced expression of Chardonnay. Aniseed, nectarine, butter and sage, with a little pink grapefruit. It’s rich and slippery, quite some buttered peach, but the acidity is good, and adds a bit of life to the wine, and then more of the cling peach and cream, with some lemon rind to close.

 Winemaker Notes:
Our 2023 Estate Chardonnay offer notes of meyer lemon, nectarine and orange blossom on the nose. There are hints of rich honey nougat and crème brûlée on first impression, and this is followed by a core of lemon, lemon balm and peach. On the back palate there is a creaminess to this chardonnay, in turn promoting a fully rounded mouthfeel." -
