“This is a creamy and nougat-laced expression of Chardonnay. Aniseed, nectarine, butter and sage, with a little pink grapefruit. It’s rich and slippery, quite some buttered peach, but the acidity is good, and adds a bit of life to the wine, and then more of the cling peach and cream, with some lemon rind to close. Winemaker Notes: Our 2023 Estate Chardonnay offer notes of meyer lemon, nectarine and orange blossom on the nose. There are hints of rich honey nougat and crème brûlée on first impression, and this is followed by a core of lemon, lemon balm and peach.
