Overview:
The soil in the Il Giardino block consists of a cracking black clay base over patches of chalky limestone. This vineyard is planted at varied elevations ranging from 60 to 80 metres, and the vines are over 15 years old. Expect more structure, higher acid and tannins from this special single block pinot noir.
