2024 By Farr Sangreal Pinot Noir

Sangreal is the oldest By Farr vineyard, planted in 1994 on a north-facing slope of bluestone and limestone with red ironstone at the surface. Made with around 70 per cent whole bunches and matured in 70 per cent new oak for 18 months, unfined and unfiltered, it is the most seamless and perfumed of the three single-vineyard Pinots.

Seductive and perfumed, with red fruits, whole-bunch spice, fine acidity and oak woven into a wine of seamless balance. A site that excels in the great vintages and wavers little in the difficult ones - the backbone of By Farr.
