NV Taittinger Prestige Rose Champagne Magnum 1.5L

Critic Reviews
94 Points - James Suckling
“A structured rose with aromas of strawberries, orange peel, peaches and cranberries, then black currants and bark. It's medium-bodied with a solid core of fruit, a fruit-driven finish and a touch of tannins. Serve with food. 35% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir and 25% pinot meunier. Three years on the lees. 9 g/L dosage. Drink or hold.”
92 Points - Wine Spectator
“Crisp acidity and the fine, chalky mousse provide a well-structured frame for this layered rose Champagne, which offers rich hints of toasted brioche, smoke and vanilla pastry cream enmeshed with a bright range of peach granita, pomelo peel and pickled ginger. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier. Drink now. 1,800 cases imported.”
90 Points - Kristaps Karklins, Wine Advocate
“The 2021-based release of Taittinger's NV Prestige Rose, incorporating reserve wines from 2019, 2018 and 2016 and disgorged in January 2025 with a dosage of nine grams per liter, is showing well, revealing aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit mingling with brioche and timut pepper. Medium- to full-bodied, ample yet vibrant, it includes 14% still red wine, which lends attractive phenolic grip to its rich core of fruit. It is a blend of 35% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. Its clear-glass bottle leaves it vulnerable to light strike, so it is essential to avoid exposure to direct sunlight.”
90 Points - Josh Raynolds, Vinous
“(50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier; 9 g/l dosage; L3374SV05900): Light orange-pink. Cherry, orange zest and fresh rose aromas show very good clarity and energy. Sappy red fruit flavors display a spicy quality, picking up energy and a floral nuance with air. Concentrated, vibrant and precise, finishing on a zesty mineral note, with lingering spiciness and firm grip.”
