Why we follow Henschke

The estate

Johann Christian Henschke, from Silesia, bought land at Keyneton in 1862, and the winery dates its establishment to 1868. Fifth-generation Stephen and Prue Henschke have run it since 1979, with Prue leading viticulture; sixth-generation Johann Henschke is now winemaker and viticulturist. The estate is best known for the Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone single-vineyard Eden Valley Shiraz, with further vineyards in the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.
