99 Points - Ken Gargett, World of Fine Wine

“If five-spice is a regular feature when it comes to the spice notes sensed so regularly in these wines, sage is very much another. And that is especially apparent with this vintage. Dark magenta, this is rich, ripe, powerful, and yet elegant. Sheer class. A star from the very first sniff. Spices, black fruits, sage, cassis, and cloves. Fresh, complex, seamless, this is a magical wine. The finest of cashmere-like tannins and such length. Decades to go for this wonderful Hill of Grace. Imposing and yet welcoming.”

“Australia's most celebrated single vineyard shiraz, this is a wow wine, majestic in its overall picture of black fruits, dark spices and deep waves of flavour and texture.”

98 Points - Huon Hooke, The Real Review

“Exceptional vintage. Deep, dark red/purple colour. Wonderful perfume of mint and spices, cherries and violets. A trace of mocha. Tremendous intensity of flavour, vibrant and high-energy, filling the mouth with flavour and a very long lingering aftertaste. A full-bodied wine with masses of tannins, but they're superbly ripe, soft, balanced tannins that run the length of the palate. Somehow, it all manages to be in superb harmony. Has a great future. Drink: 2015-2043.”
