“Exceptional vintage. Deep, dark red/purple colour. Wonderful perfume of mint and spices, cherries and violets. A trace of mocha. Tremendous intensity of flavour, vibrant and high-energy, filling the mouth with flavour and a very long lingering aftertaste. A full-bodied wine with masses of tannins, but they're superbly ripe, soft, balanced tannins that run the length of the palate. Somehow, it all manages to be in superb harmony. Has a great future.
