2008 Tyrrell's Vat 47 Chardonnay

Critic Reviews
94 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
“What a great style of chardonnay this is. Terrific mix of flavour and cutting length. Lemons, nectarines, vanilla beans and honeysuckle. A beautiful wine in all respects. Softness, strength, purity and persistence. Not that it really matters but I enjoyed this over three days, and it was as on song on day three as it was when I first opened it. (Drink between 2012-2017) (94+ pts)”
94 Points - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
“Bright, pale straw-green; has excellent thrust and intensity, white peach, citrus and melon driving the wine, rather than barrel ferment in largely in French oak; is still developing, reaching maturity around 2013, and holding its fruit for years thereafter. Special. Closure: Screwcap. 12.5% alcohol. AUD$65 (Drink by 2018)”
