2012 Howard Park Scotsdale Cabernet Sauvignon

Critic Reviews
97 Points - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
“From the near-40yo estate vineyard at Mount Barker; separate lots were either pressed at dryness or given post-ferment maceration, and kept separate during 20 months maturation in French oak (40% new). Picture perfect, not a hair out of place as the blackcurrant fruit, a touch of black olive and cedary oak flows seamlessly along the supremely elegant palate. Special. Closure: Screwcap. 14% alcohol. AUD$46 (Drink by 2042)”
94 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
“This 2012 cabernet release of Scotsdale certainly streets the shiraz. This is excellent. A ripper. So fine. Pure and dark of fruit but clear, measured, balanced, just right. Olives, earth, mineral, blackcurrant, rust-like notes, crushed leaves. Feels intricately woven. Length to match. (Drink between 2017-2027)”
