2022 Patrice et Maxime Rion Vosne Romanee | Pre-Arrival Offer

Critic Reviews
94 Points - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
“A blend of Croix Blanches, Ravioles and Haut Beaux Monts, in roughly equal proportions. Racked earlier this week. A fabulous imperial purple. Beautifully lifted bouquet, without showing the whole bunches so much. What a weight of fruit starting at the front and continuing across the palate. A joyous quite fresh red fruit, now some white pepper and then a long red fruit finish. Original score: 92-94 points”
91 Points - Allen Meadows, Burghound
“This is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction and it's enough to mask everything except a touch of wood influence. By contrast, there is excellent verve and freshness to the utterly delicious and succulent medium-bodied flavors that exhibit a mildly touch of rusticity on the dusty, austere and lingering finish. While this could also use better depth, good development potential appears to be present. (Drink starting 2030) Original score: 89-91 points”
91 Points - Neal Martin, Vinous
“The 2022 Vosne-Romanee Village includes around 40% whole bunches and delivers crisp black fruit laced with graphite and green bell pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with a charcoal-tinged entry. The oak and whole bunches are more prominent in this cuvee and detract from the precision on the finish. Fine. (Drink between 2026-2040) Original score: 89-91 points”
