2006 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon

Critic Reviews
95 Points - Bob Campbell, The Real Review
“An elegant rather than blockbuster red with aromatic floral and red berry characters. What it lacks in intensity it more than makes up in flavour length. A finely tuned red that achieves a perfect balance of delicate sweet fruit with gently drying tannins. Great potential.”
93 Points - Josh Raynolds, Vinous
“Inky ruby. Powerful, seductively perfumed aromas of dark berries, cherry-cola and smoky Indian spices. Strong and sappy, with fresh, mineral-driven cassis, cherry and dark chocolate flavors. Strikingly juicy and pure cabernet with excellent finishing lift and lingering mineral notes.”
92 Points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
“The best Cabernet I've tasted from the 2006 Margaret River vintage. There's a bit of window dressing via some highly attractive chocolate and lead pencil oak but there's a core of sweet red fruit too that has a classic and graceful sort of charm. It's medium bodied, fluid and fresh with light fine grained tannins and no shortage of length. A pretty wine of delicacy and poise.”
