95 Points, Stuart Knox, The Real Review
Deep ruby core with some purple to the rim. Cigar-box, tomato leaf and blackcurrant aromas. A solid core of black fruit, layers of dried olives and rosemary sit underneath. Distinct intensity but yet sits with a lightness from a very fine breeze of acidity and fine grained but persistent tannins. Impeccably poised and balanced
92 Points, Erin Larkin, Halliday’s Wine Companion
Fruit from Yallingup Hills (in the north). Matured 16 months in French oak. The fruit is ripe and plush, throwing up a confetti of cassis, raspberry, violets and blackberry. The oak is reclining mostly in the shade of these flavours, but just poking out a little at this stage. The palate is creamy, cohesive and fresh. A lovely wine, with black cherry through the finish.
