Critic Reviews
95 Points - Stuart Knox, The Real Review
“Deep ruby core with some purple to the rim. Cigar-box, tomato leaf and blackcurrant aromas. A solid core of black fruit, layers of dried olives and rosemary sit underneath. Distinct intensity but yet sits with a lightness from a very fine breeze of acidity and fine grained but persistent tannins. Impeccably poised and balanced”
92 Points - Erin Larkin, Wine Companion
“Fruit from Yallingup Hills (in the north). Matured 16 months in French oak. The fruit is ripe and plush, throwing up a confetti of cassis, raspberry, violets and blackberry. The oak is reclining mostly in the shade of these flavours, but just poking out a little at this stage. The palate is creamy, cohesive and fresh. A lovely wine, with black cherry through the finish.”
