A single vineyard Grenache from Sue Trott’s fabled Blewitt Springs site, off old, dry grown bush vines planted in 1952. Perfumed and spicy, with fleshy dark fruit and very fine, savoury tannins, it is thrilling to drink now yet built to age.
Erin Larkin awarded it 96 points in the Wine Advocate, calling it “a truly exciting wine”, with Huon Hooke (The Real Review, 95) and Gary Walsh (The Wine Front, 94) close behind.
