Medium-deep crimson. Espresso and cassis aromas with dark chocolate herb notes. Plush and rounded with rich cassis, blackberry, panforte and espresso flavours, dense chocolaty firm tannins and roasted chestnut and mocha oak complexity. Finishes firm but not overly muscular. A great year. Drinking well, but will improve with time. Peak drinking to 2045.
