The 2023 Arnaud Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee de Tres Vieilles Vignes is sourced from very old vines in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. Jasper Morris MW awarded it Five Stars and 92-95 points, Neal Martin of Vinous 91-93 points, and Tim Atkin MW 92 points.

A very refined nose, not over stated. Rich full fruit, with a little more oak showing then the pedicel takes over at the back of the palate, extending it enormously. All red fruit not black and really fine. Cherries to finish. - Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy (92-95 pts)

Drink from 2029-2035.

92 Points - Tim Atkin MW, timeatkin.com

“The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Tres Vieilles Vignes is a blend of three different parcels between 80 and 100 years old from three terroirs. This has a very floral bouquet with wilted rose petal infusing the vivacious red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth texture, the removal of the pedicels lending a silkiness that I don't think you would obtain otherwise. Lightly spiced toward the harmonious finish, this is one of Mortet's more sensual offerings in 2023.”

93 Points - Neal Martin, Vinous
