Massolino's Barbaresco is a relatively recent addition to the range, produced by the estate since 2019 from vines in three of the appellation's most respected sites - Albesani, Starderi and Serraboella - all co-fermented together. It offers a lighter, more perfumed counterpoint to the estate's Serralunga Barolos: red-toned fruit, rose petal, blood orange and spice framed by fine, savoury tannins and bright acidity. Approachable young, but with the balance to develop.

Aromas of ripe strawberries, cherries, cinnamon, and fresh mint emerge from the glass. Medium-bodied, it's vibrant and energetic, with orange zest accents, fine tannins, and a bright spine of acidity that makes it approachable now. Drink 2026-2036.”
